I think that this is the longest that I've gone without a blog post, and I honestly think that the reason is that I haven't had much to blog about! :o
Well, that's not entirely true. I suppose daily life here is almost always pretty interesting- the mere fact that it happens in a different language greatly ups the "fascinating" factor.
About the language- I think that it is finally safe to say that I am bilingual. I THINK. (At least that is what my friends at school have been telling me!). I had an experience the other day that I feel confirmed it, though I don't want to get to cocky about it because next thing I know someone could say something that I don't understand at all!
I was at the school library with one of my friends doing research for our French (literature) class. I was looking for a book on the author that I am studying, and asked the librarian if she knew where any might be. We talked for a bit, she was asking me what sort of book I wanted, etc. Then she pulled one of the shelf in English and said "Well there's this book, but it's in English, do you think you could read it?" I almost started laughing but I restrained myself :) Now whether this is a sign that I'm bilingual or the librarian was just REALLY out of it and couldn't hear my accent I don't know, but it made me happy nevertheless!
Though the past couple weeks have been rather calm and normal (by Belgian standards), they have still been great. But in the next month I think (I hope!) I will have some adventures to write about. :)
